Alfred University is a non-sectarian university composed of the College of Business, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and the New York State College of Ceramics, which houses the School of Art and Design, as well as the School of Engineering. The graduate programs in School Psychology are administered by the Divisional of School Psychology within the Graduate School.



Alfred University is located in the Finger Lakes region of western New York, about 70 miles south of Rochester, 90 miles southeast of Buffalo, and 60 miles west of Corning. Alfred is a popular recreation area, close to ski slopes, and water sports and fishing of the Finger Lakes region. The village of Alfred is a small college town that caters to student needs.
